High-Strength Epoxy Adhesive that Bonds Newly Poured Concrete to Old Concrete.
Uses: Abocast 8005-6 creates a stronger-than-concrete bond between old concrete and newly poured concrete. Use this bonding agent to repair bridges, runways, ramps, decks, driveways, and patios. It can also be used to resurface concrete and terrazzo floors with thin, lightweight layers of concrete. Abocast 8005-6 promotes adhesion where thin layers of concrete otherwise would not be possible.
Features and Benefits: Abocast 8005-6 is easy to apply with a brush or roller. This highly adhesive epoxy bonds to most rigid surfaces. It is also outstanding for resurfacing floors and can be extended with fillers like sand, gravel, or chips. It is excellent for functional and decorative non-skid floors. Abocast 8005-6 is resistant to chemicals, fuels, alkalis, and water. It hardens on wet surfaces and underwater.
Technical Characteristics: Mixing ratio: 7/3 by volume. Pot life: 30-40 minutes. Hardens in 2-5 hours depending on temperature and thickness. 100% solids. Color: tan. Coverage: Approximately 80 sq. ft. per gallon.
